Week 26: Noël and 6 Month Mark

Bonjour ma famille et mes amis,

So, this was one of those weeks where I had to do 3 exchanges. I did
an exchange with Elder Wilson and Elder Coopen (both in Grenoble) and
an exchange with Elder Ramsey in Lyon. It's crazy going on so many
exchanges and traveling all the time, but it's fun. We also had zone
training, so this week went by so fast.

It's so crazy that I've already hit my 6 month mark and that it is
already Christmas. Christmas was such an awesome experience here in
France. On Christmas Eve, we went out with the Simoes family, passed
out soup and cookies to homeless people, and did some caroling. It was
a lot of fun, and it was so cool to see the light and happiness that
would come to the cold, homeless people when we gave them soup.

On Christmas, we ate with the Rang family for lunch with some of their
awesome nonmember friends. It was really fun and really thoughtful of
them. Later that night, all 6 missionaries went over to the Mocellin's
house to eat dinner. That was probably the best part of the week.
Everyone in the Mocellin family is just so cool and is just awesome to
be around. It was definitely one of the best mangez-vous that I have
ever had.

Thanks to everyone that gave to me or others! I am so grateful for the
service that is done for me or for others each day. It was such a
blessing to have the opportunity this Christmas season to be a
missionary for the Lord. I know that this is the Lord's work. I know
that the reason why I am here is to share with others the knowledge
that I have that Jesus lives, that He payed for each and everyone of
our sins, and that it is only through Him that we can have eternal
life. I am grateful for my Savior and His example. He is my goal. I
strive to become more like Him everyday. Thanks everyone and I love
you!

Love,
Elder Mason
