Bonjour ma famille et mes amis,
So first of all, we have been working with a lot of part-member
families lately, and one thing I forgot to add was that we engaged a
15 yr old girl named Nell Baret to baptism who is part of a
part-member family. She is so awesome, and we have been working on
seeing her a lot to help get her ready for her baptism. We are so
excited for her.
Elder Eberhard finally got to teach Luu again. She has been gone and
really busy lately, but we challenged her to read the Book of Mormon
everyday, and she did it!!! We were so proud of her. We then taught
her about prayer and used Enos as an example. We talked about the
things he did and his desire, faith, and willingness. After that, we
encouraged her to continue reading the Book of Mormon every day and to
start praying each day/every time she reads.
This past week, we also had the opportunity to see Sarah. She is so
cool and is actually fairly interested in the Gospel. The only downer
is that the semester is almost over which means that her and a lot of
our amis have finals and are really busy. Also, because Sarah and
Ethan are just here in Grenoble for one semester, they will be going
back to Boston for school.
So, as you can tell by the title, I will be staying here in Grenoble
which I'm super excited about. Honestly, none of the missionaries here
wanted to leave because Grenoble is the best. We are also really
excited about Christmas here. The only change of missionaries in
Grenoble is my comp Elder Eberhard. My companion is now Elder Abney.
We are already having a great time and are so excited to work together
throughout this transfer.
Love you all!!!
Love,
Elder Mason
