Bonjour ma famille et mes amis,
We started the week off with our Christmas zone conference. It was
kind of weird because it is still November but whatever. It was really
fun. We watched the church's Christmas video for the year. It's called
"Éclairez Le Monde" or "Light the World". It was really good, and I'm
so excited to share it with others. We also ate raclette for lunch.
I also spent Thanksgiving at the house of one of our amis, Keith
Wicker, and his family who moved to France a couple of months ago. The
Harding family also came. It was so awesome and fun. We ate
hamburgers, ham, chicken, mashed potatoes, baguettes, and patisseries.
It was really good, and we ate all of the good American and French
food.
Yesterday, we had the primary program. It was so funny, and it
reminded me a little bit of how crazy those programs are haha. We also
had one of our amis there named Sarah who is here for school. She is
super cool and really liked the primary program and thought it was
really funny. She also stayed all three hours and went to the ward
repas (meal) after. Also, yesterday was the Harding and the Parkin
family's last Sunday here Grenoble. They will both be moving back to
America. They are such great families, and I will really miss them.
Today, we finally went to the Bastille. We woke up really early so
that we could watch the sunrise from there. It was so pretty. We also
went to the Business College here in Grenoble to share a
presentation/do a Q&A with them. The topic was American religions. I
actually really enjoyed it. It was really cool to see their point of
view. The only downside was that pretty much every hot topic about the
church was brought haha, but Elder Eberhard and I didn't have any
problems.
Love,
Elder Mason
