Week 20: Never Even in Grenoble

Bonjour ma famille et mes amis,

This week was just alright because we were just about never in
Grenoble. So this week started off with going to Béziers again, but we
actually made it there this time. The downside is that Elder Eberhard
accidentally forgot his passport, so we were stuck in Béziers an extra
day waiting for some other missionaries to pick it up and bring it to
us. But luckily, his legality stuff is finished, and we can continue
on with missionary work. One cool thing about the trip is that we took
a Spanish TGV back to Grenoble which is way nicer and cooler than
French TGV's.

Then, we got to spend a half of a day in Grenoble and left to Lyon for
zone training. It's so weird because I went from the smallest zone to
the largest one, but I love my zone so much. They are so awesome.
Then, Elder Eberhard and I went on exchange with the zone leaders. I
was with Elder MacArthur. We had such a great time and met with a lot
of awesome people.

We then got back to Grenoble and luckily got to stay there. We met
with one of our amis named Léa. She sadly said that she wasn't too
interested in the Gospel, but she said she still wants to come to
activities which is better than nothing.

We had an awesome miracle happen on Saturday. We met this guy named
Kevin outside of the church building. He said he is looking for a
church, so we're like we'll show you around our church. We let the
other elders teach him, and apparently he has a really strong desire
to know if this church is true which is so great!

Another miracle is that a member named Ethan from I think Boston area
is here for school, but he hasn't really been going to church here
lately. But, he came this last Sunday and brought his friend named
Sarah. After church, we asked him if his friend would be interested in
taking the 1st lesson, and he said he'd ask her!

One thing that I've learned on the mission that is so important for
missionary work is members. Members have the connection that
missionaries need. Also, they have such powerful testimonies that can
really strengthen the power of each lesson.

Love you all!

Love,
Elder Mason

Also, we went to a WWII French Resistance Museum today.
