Bonjour ma famille et mes amis,
After a week of Grenoble, I am already convinced that Grenoble is one
of the coolest cities in the whole world. Also, I really like the
public transport here. We mainly get around the city by trams. Also,
we have 6 missionaries in Grenoble. It's so cool to be able to be with
other missionaries. So in Grenoble, there is me, Elder Eberhard, Elder
Jensen, Elder Alvarenga, Sœur Smith, and Sœur Rutter. Also, the other
elder companionship is actually a mandarin speaking équipe.
One other thing that is super awesome that we do here is that we do
sports with the other missionaries, members, and amis. We play things
like volleyball, soccer, frisbee, etc.
We also had stake conference this past Sunday. It's kind of weird
because I literally just went to Nice's stake conference like 6 weeks
ago. But, the conference was soooo good! There was this one 15 year
old girl that ended up being a recent convert and I had actually met
before because she came to the youth camp, but she bore her testimony
and it was so powerful. I was really impressed. Also, there was a
member of the area of the 70 who was from Norway, and he shared some
great and powerful experiences with us too.
Today, I had the opportunity to hike to a place called le Fort de
Saint Eynard. It was part of the Chartreuse mountain range. It was so
cool, and it looked over Grenoble and all of the area surrounding.
Also, we could see Mont Blanc from there. It was too cool!
Also, Happy Halloween!
Love,
Elder Mason
