Week 44: 1,000 MOUTONS 🐑

Bonjour ma famille,

So, we did a lot of finding this week. It entailed some contacting but
mostly porting. It was kind of a pain, but you gotta do what you gotta
do. We now have a couple of new potentials that we are going to try
and start to work with. So, we will see how that goes.

We were porting in this one ville called Carry-Le-Rouet, and it was
sooo pretty. We ported some of the nicest houses ever, and their
backyard's were literally the Mediterranean Sea.  It was pretty
awesome!

We were in Salon-de-Provence this last Saturday to do some contacting
and meet up with a less active named Mark when we realized that they
were setting up a parade sort of thing there. So, we were pretty
pumped. It ended up being one of the weirdest parades that I have ever
seen haha. This parade thing was apparently some sort of tradition, so
there were some queens and princes and stuff like that. But, the best
part was--without a doubt--when 1,000 sheep came running through
Salon-de-Provence. It was pretty exciting and was quite the experience
haha.

This Sunday, there was an awesome miracle that happened. Randomly, a
Tahitian couple and their 7 year old daughter showed up to church.
They were from Istres (which is what I expected because all of the
Tahitians in France are here for military stuff and the military base
is in Istres). We talked to them for a little bit and learned that the
husband is a member and his wife isn't. So, we are going to try and
see them a little bit more in the upcoming weeks!

Love,
Elder Mason
