So, the day has come, and I am leaving Grenoble. It was sad to leave
all of our amis, members, and our Grenoble Gang because we were super
tight. I am now in a ville called Vitrolles. Vitrolles is an outer
ville of Marseille which means I'm going back down to the south and
the heat. My new comp will be Elder Berget. I've heard that he's cool,
and he's not from Utah, so I'm excited haha. (He's from New Mexico).
This week, all of the Grenoble Elders and I went to a ville called
Voiron to visit a member (Sœur Puissant) and her nonmember friend
(sorry I cant remember her name). We were able to briefly talk about
families and a little bit about temples which was awesome. After Sœur
Puissant's friend left, she kept on filling us up with a bunch of
sweets and gave us a bunch of stuff to bring home because we didn't
eat it all. She's sooo nice, but the rest of the day, Elder Jensen
(because we were doing an exchange) and I felt so sick because of all
the sugar that we allowed into our bodies haha.
Also, we had the opportunity to teach an ami named Patrick with the
Sœurs. Patrick is literally one of the coolest amis in the world and
is so funny. Also, he is a straight up G. We taught him about the
priesthood, and how he can also have the priesthood so that he can
help others especially his family.
It's sad to leave Grenoble, but I know I'm needed somewhere else. I'm
excited for what's ahead of me!
