This week started in Chambéry because I went on an exchange with Elder
Templeton. It was pretty cool and was relaxing because we had a car.
Oh we also ate at a curry house which all of the workers are the
Chambéry équipe's amis. It was super good, especially the naan bread.
I also had the chance to go on an exchange with Elder Alvarenga. We
had an awesome day together. We were able to prepare an ami named
Umberto for his baptism which is hopefully coming up soon. We were
also able to see our less active, George, and explained how important
church attendance is.
This past Sunday, we had so many less actives and amis come to church
which was super super awesome, including people like Nell, Antoine,
and Guy. Hopefully, this next Sunday will be just as good. Also, we
had a ward lunch because the Kim family will be leaving to Korea this
week which is kinda sad because they are so cool, but we are happy for
them.
Last night, we had an awesome miracle lesson with a man named Conté
who just moved to France and is really interested in being Christian.
While we were at the church, he randomly showed up out of nowhere. We
ended up talking with him for about an hour and a half about the
Restoration, the Book of Mormon, alcohol, smoking, and a lot of other
stuff. He is super interested and is super cool. We are now just
currently hoping that we can teach him because he used to be Muslim,
but we'll see.
Also, I had the opportunity to teach at the Business University again.
It was fun, and we taught a completely different class. It was weird
because it was similar to the last time but was still a lot different
and the discussions were different too. Oh and if you are wondering
about the title, that was the topic/reason why we taught at the
University.
Love,
Elder Mason
